IDEA has a database of economic and related information collected throughout the years. This wealth of information is used to develop indicators that track and forecast economic movements. IDEA’s macroeconomic time-series data are classified according to sectors.

IDEA’s database consist of various business and economic indicators, some of which are the following:

Financial Sector Indicators: Covers data on bank loans, assets, interest rates, liquidity and stock markets.

Fiscal Sector Indicators: Composed of data on revenue, expenditure, financing, cash position, and debt of the national government

Prices Sector Indicators: Consists of consumer, wholesale, retail and producer price indexes classified by major commodity groups and geographic locations. Oil prices are also included in this sector.

Real Sector Indicators: Includes volume and value of production indexes for manufacturing industry, sales, national accounts, transportation, tourism and employment.

External Sector Indicators: Includes exchange rate, balance of payments, reserves assets, foreign trade, and Overseas Filipino Worker-related indicators.
